Homemade Ketchup

I prefer making my own ketchup because I can use a more natural sugar (honey), I know there is no GM foods in it or that I didn’t pay an arm and a leg for organic ketchup, and it tastes fantastic. This version is incredibly simple to make.

Homemade Ketchup

  • 1 6oz can tomato paste
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 T apple cider vinegar
  • 2-3 T honey
  • 3 T chopped onion (optional)
  • 1/2 t paprika
  • 1/2 t oregano
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 3/4 cup water

Blend all ingredients until smooth. I like to funnel mine into a squirt bottle.
