DIY Shabby Chic Flower Curtain

The last few weeks I have been busy at work decorating our bathroom. Our family room is about as bare as bare can be, but hey, our bathroom is cute.

Ruined frames, dumpster dives, cardboard boxes, really old shelves, and fabric scraps galore!
I have tutorials coming up for many of the things I did in our bathroom. But, I already have one ready for you today. A shower curtain liner embellished with shabby chic style flowers, to make an custom curtain.

Isn’t it so pretty? Especially for $10! I know it is good because I got the “nice mom!” seal of approval from Christopher. Natalia loves it too. It is great for playing peek-a-boo with while getting her diaper changed. She has a very fine tastes in what works as a peek-a-boo cloth.

I am guest posting today at Stacy Makes Cents. Which is always exciting for me. She just had a beautiful baby boy a few weeks ago and I was honored to be asked to contribute to her guest posts this month! Thanks Stacy.

  1. We just put new flooring in our office and had do knock down some walls. (It is an old farm house) We are working our way out of debt too. So we cannot finish the job for a couple of months. It was very frustrating to have to knock the 2 small wall down because we were no planning to do it.

  2. I was interrupted by my kids. I, also, meant to tell you that I am looking forward to seeing what you did with you bathroom.

  3. <3 the shower curtain! great job!
